Submission Guidelines

Stoney Creek Publishing publishes high-quality fiction and nonfiction. We are especially interested in narrative nonfiction and historical fiction focused on Texas and the Southwest, but we are always on the lookout for compelling stories from any genre. 


Fiction: 

In  the subject line, include the title and estimated word count of your manuscript In the body of your email, please include a brief query introducing yourself and your work, a synopsis of your work, and a brief biographical sketch of yourself. Please include information on your social media platforms and  following if applicable. As an attachment, please include a Word document of the full manuscript. 


Nonfiction:

In the subject line, include the title and estimated word count of your manuscript. In the body of your email, please include a brief query introducing yourself and your work, a synopsis of your work, and a brief biographical sketch of yourself. Please include information on your social media platforms and following if applicable. As an attachment, please include a chapter summary of your manuscript and one or two sample chapters. Please also include a market analysis of your book, including similar titles, potential audience, and any organizations or speaking events that might be interested in the book.
